Today, we would like to inform citizens about the 10th Naha City Health Walking Competition "Hiyamikachi Naha Walk 2023" which will be held on November 12 （ Sunday ）.

The purpose of this event is to promote health through walking and to make exercise a habit. Last year, we received far more applications than we had planned for this event, and we would like to thank the many people who participated on the day of the event as well.

This year, we have prepared seven different courses with distances ranging from 2 kilometers to 20 kilometers and different attractions so that many people of all ages, from children to the elderly, can participate.

All participants who complete each course will receive a certificate of completion as well as a commemorative gift, and depending on the course they participate in, they will also receive free admission to Shikmeien, Yu Ling, Ziya Pottery Museum, and Fuzhou Garden upon showing their numbers on the day of the event.

While walking together, everyone can enjoy a different course and different scenery, or sometimes take a side trip and stroll through Fuzhou Garden and Shikmeien.

Applications can be made from Friday, September 1 （ ） to Friday, October 13 （ ） at the Civic Sports Section on the 10th floor of Naha City Hall, Naha Civic Gymnasium, and Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha. You can also apply online ・ from your smart phone.

Please note that applications cannot be accepted on the day of the event, so please make sure to apply in advance.

On the day of the Walking Tournament, the "Naha Health Fair" will be held at the entrance plaza of Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha, the venue of the event. The event will include a panel exhibition on health promotion, blood pressure measurement, health counseling, and much more.
